Dr. Rubinshteyn graduated from Cornell University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences. During his studies at Cornell, Dr. Rubinshteyn was named to Dean’s list for academic excellence. He received his medical doctorate degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He then completed 5 year residency program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center serving a Chief Resident during the last year of residency training. After completion of training, Dr. Rubinshteyn completed Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Since completing training, Dr. Rubinshteyn has been busy in general orthopedic practice in New York. After working at Metropolitan Hospital in New York, NY, he has worked at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for the past 10 years. During his time at Coney Island, Dr. Rubinshteyn has a busy orthopaedic surgery practice providing both surgical and non surgical treatment of bone and joint disorders including treatment of joint pain, trauma/fracture care, sports injuries in both adult and pediatric population. During this time, Dr. Rubinshteyn performed thousands of various surgeries including total joint replacement, arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries and fracture treatment in both adults and children.
Dr. Rubinshteyn is currently in private practice in Brooklyn, NY and Queens, NY providing highest quality comprehensive orthopaedic care to his patients.
